刘磊，博士，教授，硕士生导师，IEEE Senior Member。2017年毕业于东北大学，获工学博士学位。发表SCI检索论文70余篇，其中在《Automatica》或IEEE Trans.汇刊上发表（含录用）论文20篇，高被引论文9篇，出版学术专著1部。
获2021年度辽宁省自然科学二等奖(排名第二)；获2022年度辽宁省研究生教学成果特等奖；获2018年度中国自动化学会优秀博士学位论文奖；2019年入选辽宁省“兴辽英才计划”青年拔尖人才；2020年入选辽宁省“百千万人才工程”千人层次。2019年获《IEEE Transactions on Cybernetics》最佳论文奖；2019年获“中国百篇最具影响国际学术论文”；2020年获《IEEE/CAA Journal of Automatica Sinica》钱学森论文奖。
主持国家自然科学基金项目2项；分别主持辽宁省教育厅重点项目、辽宁省应用基础研究计划项目、教育部中央高校基本科研业务费项目、矿冶过程自动控制技术国家（北京市）重点实验室开放研究基金项目各1项。
现担任《International Journal of Control, Automation, and Systems》、《AIMS Mathematics》等5个国际期刊的编委。国际神经网络协会、亚太神经网络协会、中国自动化学会、中国人工智能学会、中国指挥与控制学会会员。
指导学生参加全国大学生和研究生数学建模竞赛，获国家一等奖1项、国家二等奖1项、省级一等奖4项、省级二等奖5项；获第七届全国青年科普创新实验暨作品大赛优秀指导教师称号。
